KOSTAL Spain has been supporting the UPC ecoRacing team since 2014. UPC ecoRacing is a technological research association in Spain composed mainly of engineering students from the ESEIAAT (Terrassa School of Industrial, Aerospace and Audiovisual Engineering) with the main objective to develop new eco-friendly technologies in the automotive sector.
This summer several important competitions took place in Holland, Switzerland and Spain.
The UPC ecoRacing team closes up a successful season in the Formula Student Competition.
The outstanding results speak for themselves:
- 1st place in Autocross, track drive and 2nd position overall in Formula Student Spain in the Autonomous Mode (Driverless)
- Victory in Cost & Manufacturing, 2nd position in Business Plan and 3rd position in the Design Event in Formula Student Switzerland
- Two ‘top 5’ positions in Formula Student Netherlands: Acceleration and Autocross
During these seven years of sponsorship, the UPC ecoRacing members showed what teamwork and perseverance can achieve. They have mastered many challenges. Congratulations again for this great achievement!
