In spring and summer 2018 numerous sporting events were on the calendar of the KOSTAL employees.
It all started in May with the 2nd International KOSTAL Golf Tournament. The game was played on the Newcastle West Golf Course in Ireland. Golf friends from Germany, China, the Czech Republic and America enthusiastically accepted the invitation of the Irish colleagues.
At the beginning of June, the first Asian KOSTAL football tournament took place in Shanghai. Eight teams from Japan, Korea and KOCHI fought for the title. Formally, the "KOASIA" team won, but ultimately the entire Asian KOSTAL organization benefitted from this great family event.
Also in June, a group of 13 runners started at the AOK companies run around Dortmund's Phoenix Lake. The so called "Wild 13" successfully defended last year's 5th place in the team ranking. With 137 runners, a significantly larger group took part in the companies run in Lüdenscheid. Traditionally KOSTAL is one of the biggest teams at this event.
KOSTAL Macedonia also provided a powerful team with 60 employees in Ohrid for the 5 and 10 km run, the largest sporting event in the town. The KOSTAL employees were able to achieve top positions in both disciplines.
