Since its establishment in 1912, the KOSTAL Group has succeeded in increasing its turnover continuously. This positive development of the business is the result of the company's high level of customer orientation, as well as the way the Group has adjusted in a targeted manner to the increasing globalisation of the world economy.

Employees
 
With the continuing growth of the organisation, the company has needed more people and KOSTAL has succeeded in creating a large number of new jobs. The number of employees has been maintained through to the present, with a total head-count of some 11.400 employees world-wide. The number of people employed in the subsidiary companies outside Germany has risen continuously. Meanwhile more than 70% of the KOSTAL employees are working outside Germany.
